Patrick Philippart

Patrick Philippart is MBDA Programmes Export Operations Director.

In this role, he leads the multi-national team that manages export contracts, offset obligations and operates Joint Ventures of MBDA across the globe.

Patrick was Chief Engineer for Thales avionic systems in the initial phase of his career. He joined Matra Defence (now MBDA) in 1989 and spent his career in positions of increasing importance within the Sales & Business Development Directorate from Domestic Customer Sales Executive to the position of Commercial Operations Director until April 2019 after which he assumed his current role at the MBDA Programmes Directorate.

He has been working with Indian partners for circa 20 years and has presented various papers at multiple international conferences.

He is also a member of the board for various international Joint Ventures of MBDA.

Patrick is graduated from the French Business & Engineering School Supelec, Paris and he has studied General Business from the Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Patrick has a daughter and a son.
